Chiltern Student Villages Project Reaches Financial Close

The Chiltern Student Villages Project in Buckinghamshire is part of the Wycombe District Council's 2004 vision for High Wycombe.

The project involves the development of a 'spine road' for the campus to reside alongside and consists of the design, construction, financing and operation of a portion of the High Wycombe Campus at Buckinghamshire New University.

The concession period is 38 years with construction set to start immediately, in order to be ready for the September 2009 academic year.

The project reached financial close in July 2008. Operis provided model due diligence advice on the project's financial model, delivering an opinion to the Bank of Scotland, who were appointed to arrange the financing for this £16 million project.
